CREEK COUNTY SPRING LIVESTOCK SHOW 2009

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Tuesday, February 24, 2009
4:00 to 6:30 pm: Set up for all Livestock Exhibitors
6:00 pm: Fair Board, Ag Educators, & 4-H Leaders Meeting
6:30 – 7:30 pm Barbeque Dinner
7:30 – 9:30 pm Dance

Thursday, February 26, 2009
1:00 pm: All goats in place.
5:00 pm: Goat Show

Friday, February 27, 2009
12:00 pm: Sheep must be in place.
     All swine exhibitors must be ready to weigh; Breeding Gilt weight cards due
     and registration papers checked.
     ALL SWINE MUST BE IN PLACE BY 12:00 PM.
12:30 pm to 1:30 pm: Market lambs officially weighed and classified by Sheep
     Committee, Breeding Ewes checked in.
5:00 pm: Judging of Breeding Ewes, followed by Market Lambs, Sale Order, and
     Showmanship classes.
     “Barns close at 10:00 p.m. or 1 hour after Sheep Show is over, whichever is later.”

Saturday, February 28, 2009
9:00 am: Judging of Gilts, followed by Market Hogs, and Showmanship.
NOTE: Swine will be dismissed by announcer, and all hogs must be loaded out through the north and south overhead doors, or through swine wash rack area. No swine will be allowed east of main arena. Pens must be taken down before exhibitors are allowed to be released.

Sunday, March 1, 2009
9:30 am: Steers weighed and measured. Heifers measured and registration papers
     checked by Beef Committee.
12:30 pm: Cattle Show, Judging of Heifers, Prospect Steers, Market Steers, Sale Order,
     and Beef Showmanship Classes.

Monday, March 2, 2009
10:00 am: 4-H & FFA Livestock Judging Contest.
1:00 pm: Set up for Premium Sale, followed by the Awards presentation for the Judging
     Contest.

Tuesday, March 3, 2009
5:00 pm: All Premium Sale animals must be in place.  Meeting of Exhibitors
6:00 pm: Buyer’s Social
7:00 pm: Premium Sale
